Bunnings
Bunnings, the giant Australian chain store has decided to enter to ecommerce. The whole XD team dedicated to this project was in Melbourne and I was the only UX UI designer in Sydney.
The team in Sydney was consisted of 2 squads. Each squad had 8-10 Back-end developers, 4-6 Front-end developers and a scrum master.
The project that we worked on in Sydney was Corporate Gift Card, Order History and Product page
AGILE AND CEREMONIES
This project was one of the best agile work that I’ve ever been part of.
sticked to all the ceremonies and never missed a single daily standup. All team were across the work and progress on Jira. We time boxed the tasks and prioritised at the beginning of each sprint.
At the end of each sprint we had retrospectives to make sure the team is happy with the work.
CREATING COMPONENT LIBRARY
The project was from the scratch and required creating a fresh component library.
Each component was well studied and designed. For example; To create the burger menu on mobile and how products show, We did several rounds of usability, guerrilla and findability testings on different designs until we got to the best design.
